One Bread, One Body - Reflection for November 21, 2009

OUR FEAST DAY

"I will give thanks to You, O Lord, with all my heart; I will declare all Your wondrous deeds." –Psalm 9:2

Today is the patronal feast day of Our Lady of Presentation Ministries and Communities. As Mary surrendered her life to God's will when she was presented in the Temple, so we at Presentation Ministries present our lives to the Lord for Him to do with as He wills. As the psalmist gives thanks to God and declares His wondrous deeds (Ps 9:2), so we spend our lives spreading His word in thanksgiving to make a return to the Lord for all the good He has done for us (Ps 116:12).

This book, One Bread, One Body, is one way the Lord has called us to express our commitment to Him. Please pray for us to remain faithful in serving the Lord. Pray that we may resist temptation, refuse to compromise with the world, and bear a hundredfold harvest or more. Pray that all who have ever read this book accept Jesus as their Savior, Lord, and God, and not fail "to recognize the time" of God's visitation (Lk 19:44).

Pray that every word written in this book be anointed by the Holy Spirit. May all who read this book receive the zeal to lead millions to the Lord and prepare the way for His final coming. As Jesus multiplied the loaves and fish to feed the masses, pray that He take this book and multiply its power so it will be a catalyst for world evangelization. Consider clipping out this page and using it as a reminder and guide to intercede for Presentation Ministries daily. Ask the Lord if He wants you to pray for us in a special way.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for raising up intercessors and contributors for Presentation Ministries.
PROMISE: "God is not the God of the dead but of the living. All are alive for Him." –Lk 20:38
PRAISE: Praise be to Jesus and honor be to His Blessed Mother, whose love stretches to eternity.
