Jesus has provided everything possible for us to receive. He gave His life for us. He gave us His power and authority (Mt 10:1). While hanging on the cross, He even gave us His mother (Jn 19:27). Jesus also gave us His angels. Throughout His life on earth, the angels ascended and descended on Him. The archangel Gabriel was there at Jesus conception (Lk 1:26ff). Choirs of angels sang at His birth (Lk 2:13). Angels ministered to Him after the temptations in the desert (Mk 1:13). An angel was with Jesus in the garden of Gethsemani (Lk 22:43) as well as in the garden where He arose from the dead (Mt 28:2).
After His Ascension, Jesus sent these angels to minister to us (Heb 1:14), and we see in Acts of the Apostles extensive angelic activity in the early Church. This should also be true of the Church today. If angels are not working in your life or church, you're probably not asking them to do anything because of lack of faith.
Right now, ask Michael to help you claim your victory over the devil (Rv 12:7). Ask Gabriel to give you some good news (Lk 1:26). Ask Raphael to heal blindness and guide you (Tb 12).
PRAYER: | Thank You, Jesus, for angels. May I accept all Your gifts. |
